I got this one as an audio book from netgalley for my honest review
That being said I enjoyed this one….the kind of enemies to lovers you’d kind of expect but also not…if that makes sense. I’m not sure what I expected but the cover caught my eye and I loved the idea of a slightly older couple and a curvy fmc.
Lets start with the fact that daisy is kind of oblivious…things are very evident from the start..and she just does not see it. I did kinda spent half the book mentally yelling at her to see his reactions in a different light but she absolutely refused to!
Was it a spicy book…most of it no, I’d say 2/3s was full of tension and you were just waiting for them to break it. but then yes things just snapped and the last 1/3 they were like rabbits. Definitely spicy, open door scenes but nothing crazy or dark.
I would recommend if you like a good romance book. the banter was there, there was a bit of comedy. it definitely was a fun read
