Ok guys if you follow me on TikTok you already have access to this pattern it was my mystery crochet along a month or so ago…but I thought I’d write it out for those who don’t want to sit watching a video over and over to get the pattern
That being said go watch it if you have questions because sometimes a video helps! Feel free to ask me any questions, each video is linked with its matching part.
So first I wanna say this is something I created to put on the display bottles at work. I want to share the basic pattern for free and if I get enough interest I’ll type up and sell the dozen variations I’ve made in one digital file.
Yes these were made for alcohol bottles but that doesn’t mean they are their only purpose use your imagination and put them on all kinds of things.
Have fun with it, make your own variations (feel free to share them with me. Feel free to Sell what you make, share your variations whatever you like just don’t sell my pattern and a mention or crediting me would be amazing)
2 contrasting colors of medium weight yarn( I used acrylic)
6mm crochet hook
2 stitch markers
yarn needle(or something to tuck ends)
snips
Abbreviations
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
HDC – Half Double Crochet
MR – Magic Ring, also called a Magic Circle
SlSt – Slip Stitch
ST – Stitch
FO – Finish Off
For the center, make 2
Round 1: in a MR, CH 1, 8 HDC
Or if you don’t like doing a MR CH 3 and and do 8 HDC in the first CH
Pull the tail tight, SLST in first HDC, CH 1
Round 2: 2 HDC in each ST around (16)
SLST in first ST FO
Now this can get a little tricky so I do recommend watching the video
Holding the two circles together and using 2 stitch markers, mark off 6 stitches, putting a stitch marker at STs 1 and 6
In a contrasting color create a slip knot and put it on your hook
Working in the other 10 STs, SC the circles together
Once you reach that first ST marker you’re going to SC in only one circle for the last 6 STs
SLST in first ST
Now to actually create the petals
“CH 5 SLST into the first CH SLST into the next SC” around
FO, trim and tuck all ends
it should look like this
