Proper English governess Eleanor Morgan flees to the colonies to escape the wrath of a an angry duke. When the Charles Town family she’s to work for never arrives to collect her from the dock, she is forced to settle for the only reputable choice remaining to her—marriage to a man she’s never met. Trapper and tracker Samuel Heath is a hardened survivor used to getting his own way by brain or by brawn, and he’s determined to find a mother for his young daughter. But finding a wife proves to be impossible. No upstanding woman wants to marry a murderer.
This book has been on my need to read list for almost a year(I’m soo sorry!) I liked the cover and really enjoyed the last book I read by Michelle, so I was pretty sure I’d enjoy it. But time got away from me. When I finally picked it up I had a Hard time putting it down…I just had to know how things were gonna work out for Eleanor!!! and even though I didn’t know how I felt about Samuel, I knew I loved little Grace and I couldn’t wait to see How their lives intertwined. I did end up liking Samuel it just took a bit longer to lol…and btw just my opinion but the guy in the cover doesn’t quite fit what I thought Samuel would look like. Over all though i did really enjoy the story!
one last thing…Michelle would it be to much to ask to check back in with about Eleanor’s 2 friends (the ones who came over on the boat with her) and see how they’re doing??? Even if its just a short story!!!

Hey, thanks for the awesome review! So glad you enjoyed hanging out with Eleanor and Samuel. Actually, I do have a story in mind for Molly and another for Biz. It’s finding the time to get to them that’s the problem!
oooo!!!! thats exciting even if its in the distant future! thanks for stopping by and reading my review 😀
