I think for this week I’ll pick a simple one…turn to page 125 what’s the first full quote?
Here’s mine….
Hahaha no quote on page 125 sooo
I turned to 126
“Are you gong to kneel there in the garden all day with your eyes closed, or did you plan to pull a few weeds?”
From the Beloved Christmas Quilt, first story Luella’s Promise by Wanda E. Brunstetter

This isn’t a Christian books, but the author is clean. Two books I ordered literally JUST came in the mail as I was about to go find a book to do this. The quote is from Caroline and Julia by Clare Darcy; the other one didn’t have a quote on that page. So, this is the best I can do: “It was no more than a silly headache.”
As long as what you share is clean the book doesn’t have to be a Christian book!! There are slot of great books in all the genres ?
Love book mail!! It’s gotta be the best kind of mail lol
It amuses me that I picked a page that my book and one of yours didn’t have a quote on ?
“You have the Scalps? From Mark of the King by Jocelyn Green.
Haha!!! Makes me want more to know what the heck is going on
Oh, this is a long one, from “The Half-Drowned King” (by Linnea Harsuyker): She stood swiftly. “Little enough, I think, when you have given them o much else to speak of. If your leg pains you so much that you must be cruel to one who has done nothing but stand by you, I will send for the healer.”
Long ones are just as fun!!
No quote on 125 so from 126…
I’d grown quite fond of the wind since Miss Cleta had taught me the secrets of it. “It’s the breath of God, Jessilyn,” she’d say, lifting her face to greet it. “Just listen to it talkin’ to your soul.”
-Catching Moondrops, Jennifer Erin Valent
Ooh!! Such a pretty quote!! I did real well picking the page number it seems lol, since so far at least 3 books didn’t have quotes on said page ?
haha bad luck!
“So fo we wait it out, keep working or go home?”
From the book The Promise Of Dawn. Boik 1 in the Under Northern Skies series by Lauraine Snelling.
Neat!! Do what did the decide to do?? I know I know I probably need to read the to find out right ?
“This wasn’t an ordinary snake in the grass though. Whatever it was, she sensed it in her bones, and she didn’t like it one bit.”
From Christina Cornell’s Written in the Stars
Eek!! I hate snakes lol ?
