Well, in going back yo it, I found Chapter 17! It and the epilogue are the end of the book (I don’t know how I missed it the first time, LOL!).
Anyway, here’s the first sentence. . .
On Monday evening after work, Leanna stood at the pond, staring at the light ripples breaking the still water.
Now, I need to finish it!!
