two different galaxy roses using tombow….a tutorial of sorts

So today I thought it might be fun to do  a tutorial of sorts to show you how i made two different galaxy roses using Tombows dual brush markers (I have the Galaxy set)

I’m hoping to do more diy/tutorials so keep a watch out for them!!

 

As you can see this first rose I started off with making “C” like marks to form the flower

I Kept going switching between different colors

With the next one i added some black accent to a few random petals

next I played with blending

to be honest guys I wasn’t very happy with the way this one turned out as a flower anyway, its kind of neat if you think its just an abstract piece of art lol

this next rose I liked more

I started by using black and creating the whole flower, by drawing crescent like shapes for the petals and a leaf

 

I filled in the colors one at a time trying to keep the placement scattered

 

I loved the way this one came out so  much more!

 

I’d love to see your attempts at a galaxy flower, either using my technique or  one of your own!!!
