Are you ready for our next tutorial??? Today we’re going to do bookmarks! now if you know me you know how much I love books and how I kind of collect bookmarks!
Today were gonna do an ombre sunset and I guess its called a blocking method!
The ombre one I did by myself but the blocking my kids did with me so get ready to see not just my attempt at it but my kiddos too
Lets start with the blocking one, but first a tip to protect your table put a piece of paper under your bookmark so when you go off the side you don’t color on the table

Step 1: gather your supplies
Thin washi tape
Plain bookmarks
Tombow marker
Paintbrush if you want ( I used the kind of brush you can fill with water)

Step 2: use the washi tape to create sections

Step 3: color in each section how ever you like

Step 4: peel off the washi tape.

Now you can either be done here or go to step 5
Step 5: Use water to blend and give the bookmark a water color effect

let it dry and enjoy
Now for the ombre sunset

This one is definitely my favorite, I love the way it came out!
Step 1: gather your supplies
Same supplies as above minus the washi tape

Step 2: color in this order, dark blue(biggest portion) Light blue (slightly smaller portion) next the purple, than pink in almost equal portions

Step 3: blend with water. I started at the dark blue and going across it the short way I slowly made my way down blending each color a little into the next. so they fade into each other.

Which one is your favorite?? which do you wanna try?

This is great! I love the solid one, and can’t wait to do something like this with my LO!
Hope you and your LO have fun doing it!! I know my kids loved it!!
