I got these two stories a few week ago and was excited to see what they were about. I’ll review the other soon!
I love the idea of a kids book teaching more about the characters of the Bible, delving more into the person and the events in there lives not just focusing on the well known parts bible stories.
You learn more about David than just that he was a Shepard boy, who killed Goliath. It talks about how david soothes Saul with his music. About his hiding from Saul and the encounters they had while Saul was hunting him. It talked about David as king. They put scripture references with the different parts.
I had my kids read a part/chapter a day as part of their school work. They seemed to enjoy it.
I liked that it was broken down in parts and was like an investigation into the persons life.
And did you know they had a few worksheets on there website???
This also might be a good book to use in Sunday school…I’m seriously considering using it!
Can’t wait to get more of these for my kiddos to read!!
