So guys I thought I’d share a quick recipe of sorts
This works up quickly especially if you put it in the freezer. The melting and freezing is what takes the most time.
Sometimes I just want a candy bar and don’t have any but I almost always have semi sweet chocolate chips in the house so I pull out my bag and depending on how much I want to share I melt 1/2 the bag or the whole thing.
Than I look for mix ins! I’ve mixed in crushed pretzels, melted peanut butter, coconut flakes, mini m&ms, and nuts!! I hope to soon try cookies pieces, mini marshmallows, or Crushed Graham crackers….you get my point anything you want to try could be yummy!!
So once I get Mix ins I add a little at a time…if I’m doing peanut butter I melt it in with the chocolate….a hefty scoop of it, and than I add in a bit of powdered sugar a tbsp ish or two just to balance it out.
Mix in Whatever else you want, measurement isn’t really a need! Just eyeball it. You want everything to get coated with chocolate.

Now you need two pieces of parchment paper you want to sandwich the chocolate In-between parchment and then press it to make a thin layer. Be careful though cause I’ve gotten to ahead of myself and pushed it to fast and made a mess on the counter. Last time I folded a piece in half put a dollop or two of the chocolate mix at the fold, folded the top back over and slowly pressed it out towards the sides trying to get it an even flatness
A tip…when I first started making this I’d put a piece of parchment on a plate dollop some mix on that, place a piece of parchment on top and that put another plate on top and give a good press.
Once it’s flattened throw it In The freezer depending on thickness you should only have to wait 15-30 mins….now while you wait eat what’s left in the bowl, melted chocolate yumm
Once it’s fully hardened pull it out and break it into pieces!! I usually go two bites or smaller size wise…I bag it in ziplock and keep it usually in the fridge unless it’s winter then it stays on the counter

I’d love to know what you mix together!!
